That's a big part of why he wants to call the meeting actually. Like he had noticed within himself that he was more concerned with his ~outside interests~ than Ruby lately (and not just Dusk stuff; this includes like, he goes to Carnelian to check on Shuri EVERY TIME THEY WIN which happens PRETTY OFTEN, and he doesn't . . . do that for like, Dera or Jacuzzi or anything) and he wasn't happy with that, and then Dera mentioned being upset over the same thing. So he wants to talk to people. Not to be like EVERYONE, LET'S ALL LOVE RUBY MOST! but just to catch up with them, discuss concerns, possibly have some sort of relaxing team thing like a picnic, whatever. His biggest concern is that Ruby right now functions well in games buuuut is a little bit WOOOO LOL! in the normal social interaction/day to day teamwork department and he doesn't want that to eventually carry OVER to games. He's not expecting them to become team love and peace and he has no real problem with like, Luke loving Dusk more than he loves Ruby. But he wants to touch base with everyone and see if they can't strengthen bonds and work out some of the more minor issues.
Basically Konatsu puts Ruby above all else. Mostly. He would be a lot more conflicted now than he used to be about slaughtering another team for Ruby's benefit IF that team included someone he cared about a lot (so basically, Carnelian, Tiger's Eye, Kunzite, and Emerald are off-limits to him; Peridot has Cass on it so he wouldn't want to hurt her either but Rubidot relations are complicated on another level lol). And in some ways he's--not happy with that? He wants to still be able to make hard decisions for Ruby's benefit! But in other ways he's like, dude I can't murder a friend/maybe-lover just for my team. OR CAN I? AHHHHH. WHY IS THIS CONFLICT OF INTERESTS SO COMPLICATED!
But he recognizes that it's also inevitable so he can deal with it. He just doesn't want it to become SO BAD that it makes Ruby non-functional. And he loves his team deeply and he does care more for them as a whole than he does anything else in Aather, though Shuri complicates things because his duty to Shuri is actually a duty to Hyuuga and predates Ruby.
WHAT IS MUKURO'S BIGGEST WITHIN-RUBY CONFLICT RIGHT NOW and does it affect his RUBY IS EVERYTHING mindset at all?
HE HAD A LOT OF DERA WORRIES BUT THOSE WERE SOLVED :|a Mostly he has Oz concerns. He is like 98% sure Oz dislikes him so he's just given up. He is also pretty unwilling to give up his relationship with Gil for Oz but Oz is Ruby and just blah blah juggling that is annoying. HOW DOES I OZ!??!!? He tries to get Luke to fix the Oz Problem but doesn't know how \:D/
It doesn't change his Ruby is everything mindset :|b Nothing can change that but his memories of Kokuyou, I think.
HOW IS KONATSU DIFFERENT FROM CANON KONATSU if at all :O
HE'S STILL MISSING YEARS OF TRAUMA FOR ONE THING although the thing is that in the current canon timeline Konatsu has dealt with his trauma, mostly. But it's still THERE in his background and here it's not! When he remembers it it'll be another weight on him and fuck with him a little but he'll get through it and the overall effect will be subtle. Mostly though Aather has forced him to socialize more and with more people, but it also hasn't been long enough that he has the same level of comfort as he does with the Black Hawks. So interestingly he's both more and less social in Aather. On one hand he has more friends and is more okay with casual touch and stuff. On the other hand with the Black Hawks he's comfortable enough to like . . . bathe them . . . and stuff. Which isn't something he has here yet. So in Aather he's more social with more people but isn't AS COMFORTABLE with the few people he's closest to.
I think the major thing is though--this also has to do with his backstory he doesn't remember but! In canon Konatsu IS AN ANTAGONIST and in Aather he's really not. Because in canon the fact that he worships and serves Verloren is based entirely in his backstory and upbringing. He was born into a family where that was normal. He was forced to follow that path in order to try to redeem himself in their eyes. And then finally he broke free of that but he broke free because of the influence of ANOTHER Satan-worshiper! So in canon he's with the bad guys but he's not a bad . . . guy. He's ruthless and practical but of all the Black Hawks, he and Haruse are the ones who are not actually bad people. SO in Aather . . . he's still ruthless and he's still practical but he's not involved in things like, you know, KILLING THE POPE TO OBTAIN THE VESSEL THAT WILL ALLOW THE WORLD'S SATAN FIGURE TO REGAIN ALL OF HIS POWER AND TERRORIZE HUMANITY! And when he figures out that he WAS involved in that in canon, he's going to be . . . sort of confused and torn . . . because it's so much a part of him but it's so much a part of him because of years of societal conditioning which he doesn't and won't recall.
But. He's still very similar to his canon self I think because a lot of his important character traits are natural parts of him and not things he needs memories for. Things like being proper and prissy and hardworking and competent and all that. Aather didn't really take that away. It's just also forcing him to confront new things socially and to deal with reconciling his past and future, and it's holding back his early lifetime trauma for now.

. . . it depends on whether you mean KILL FOR FUN or KILL IN THE CONTEXT OF A GAME IN ORDER TO WIN THAT GAME. He would forgive the latter. I mean he'd be pissed but games are different. He wouldn't forgive it if it were UNNECESSARY, though. And outside of a game . . . yeah no. He wouldn't forgive him and would probably attempt to kill him or at least kick his ass and then idek. He wouldn't ragequit Ruby because he would still love the REST of Ruby but something would have to be worked out.
ALSO THIS IS ASSUMING IT WAS KILLING FOR FUN. He would forgive Mukuro killing him in self-defense of course. Not that that is likely to be an issue but Konatsu does know that Dusk's real name is Asch the Bloody . . .
