AERIS WOULD except she is kind of . . . not used to being at the whims of the powers that be but her take on LARGER POWERS AND PEOPLE AND ~DESTINY~ AND DUTY are just a bit not in line with being too nosy about it. She is curious as to how it all works so she can understand her role in it better but politicswise she isn't super invested.

Mukuro is only invested insofar as he wants to know how he can get all his skills back and then fuck the personae over.

Break . . . has relatively low interest as well.

Would you change the starter memory for Shadow or Lloyd?

I wouldn't! I'd handle some of Lloyd's memories a little differently - I think I'd split the endgame memory up into two, for example - but Lloyd is always pretty Lloydish and all of the interesting character development he's gotten has been from Aather and not from memories. And Shadow's starter worked out just like I hoped it would in giving it some general interest in being good without defining what that was! Ssso.

Will Mukuro be sad if Peridot keeps on being a win juggernaut and Shadow leaves soon 8(

HE WILL MISS SHADOW A LOT :( BECAUSE SHADOW IS ONE OF HIS FAVORITE PEOPLE. I am not sure if it is sad because he tends to neuter his sad feelings right away so he might just go straight to annoyed.

They have not! It's sort of settled into Peridot-centric not caring very much wihtout being at all actively malicious \:D/ I would like it to get back its DIGGER EXPLAINS MORALITY memory before I unlock its end-of-arc memories, or else it will just be very confused.

How do you usually go about planning heart games? DO YOU HAVE A SYSTEM?

I HAVE ACTUALLY ONLY RUN ONE REAL HEART GAME and then there was the mockup I did for Mukuro which was more of a Choose Your Own Adventure.

I LIKE TO START THOUGH with things I want in it and try to link up from there. Mukuro's current game I am planning in layers and it actually works really well for me :|a

I build the structure and general layout of the heart out from how I feel like the character processes the world! Which actually... does not work terribly well for me, since it means I have a very clear idea of heart geography and then idefk what to put IN the heart \:D/ but I like it and it makes sense to me. It helps me make a lot of very firm decisions about a lot of different aspects of the heart fast, like... Lloyd's heart is all one level and only has one manifestation, because he processes the world by relying on his sense of self and if that "self" was fragmentary it would break him. And I like using metaphors for the landscapes :') water and land and erosion. I will probably actually draw a map of Shadow's heart because there will be a special gameplay mechanic in there. AND THEN PUT IN MANIFESTATIONS AND MEMORIES. I GUESS.

Kind of only tangentally related to RP but HOW DO YOU MAKE PLAYLISTS?

I GO VERY MUCH with the mood of the music or how I feel listening to it. So sometimes it is not very appropriate at all but it FITS MY GROOOOOVVVVVVVEEEEE. Every now and then though there is a song that is just like BAM AJ THIS IS A CHARACTER SONG so. But I am also a very slow playlist constructor :B;;;

THERE IS GRASS, which there really is not much of in CFUD!Lloyd's heart :'D!! and a GIANT WATERFALL and also a huge empty void of nothingness. The weather and season and temperature is also pretty important in there. The movement of air and water is more reactive than the rest of the heart so it's more in flux :|a

What memor would you start some of your cfud characters with at Aather? REGARDLESS OF IF YOU WOULD PLAY THEM OR NOT i am curious.

Sebastian I would start with his Hell backstory, because otherwise he would just be. . . someone who ate souls indiscriminately? As he implied he was as a younger demon. So I wouldn't want him any less updated than to just before taking Ciel's contract. Sera's first memory would probably be something that gave her no clues about her life past finding out Serph Sheffield was an asshole, so I could break her properly.

Three things you like and dislike to see in a canon?

• reduction of character for romantic role! (usually the uberuke, superseme sort of syndrome, regardless of het, yaoi, polywhatchabangbang).
• usually crack canons will drive me off too
• CANONS THAT ARE TOO SELF-INVOLVED sob like if a canon is too invested in its own world architecture or plot I just get bored.

• I LIKE TO SEE UNIQUE THINGS like Madoka's mixed media, Reborn's just general wtfery, etc.
• I likkkkee DARK!11 stuff
• and stuff I can dissect.

What are your favorite kinds of AU scenarios?

IN TERMS OF LIKE GENERAL AU I like it where disparate events lead to the same "end" personality change or influence. So like if a fantasy canon is high school AU'd I want to see the characters be recognizable not because they are "the same character" but because of life instances that can lead to "the same character" in a way!

OR I like to see AU where you can see why they are different and yet have still maintained something about themselves. I don't like nonsensical AU where characters are just one way Because.

I like to see AUs in fanfic/doujin/alternaties for RP :'D done in ways which make you go hnnnnnggggggggg. Either for emotional value or just coolness or whatever.
