I think that's all that really gets said (o... of any value) on illusions in Reborn, IIRC. Though the Mist-y types have some involvement in the current arc and idk if anything of use was said in Genkishi's thing because I didn't read that bit of Reborn \:D/.
THINGS REBORN ILLUSIONS CAN DO: make fake organs (?) except they're not really 'made', but apparently can MAKE YOUR BODY FUNCTION LIKE THEIR ARE THERE, general spell battle stuff like earthquakes and fire and ice and all that jazz, FOOL CAMERAS!!11, "create something out of nothing", all that appearance junk, idek other random shit.
Most of that isn't relevant and I've tiered it out. The other thing about illusioning is its particular relation to being grounded in reality along with its connection to the Mist ... type...
• the illusionist must be grounded firmly in their reality but also flexible enough to will illusions into existence. Mukuro comments in the TYL arc that Glo Xinia would have made a good illusionist.
- this is hilariously more difficult in Aather. Acedia is still sorting through this, because losing his footing would mean a) failed illusions and b) ... well, just, reality... is hard...?? Not knowing the world and how it changes + persona + not knowing himself puts it all on shakier ground.
• illusions are part skill, part will, part trickery and two parts idefk reborn what the fuck.
- Acedia has no refinement of his skills at all olol \o/ And his will is . . . variable. He probably won't tell many people they're illusions (t... though it doesn't seem to matter a huge amount in Reborn if people think their illusions EXCEPT FOR WHEN IT DOES!!!!11111 ... so ... ) In general Mukuro has enough power to create pretty strong illusions -- though, for example, they would never work on Lucifer even if Lucifer didn't have any powers because of what Lucifer is and his whole will shindig. Because they are illusions and not 'real'. Likewise, Glo Xinia was able to embrace the fact that certain illusionary things were illusions -- but ... not all of them (and it was Chrome's illusions v. Chrome-Mukuro's illusions. But either way, it's kind of variable) but clearly in like "this is an illusion battle" everyone knows they are illusions and are still effected ... whatever.
• I have always just kind of assumed Mukuro fabricates things out of things he knows. And for what he might not know as a 15 year old dude he can fabricate because of his reincarnation bullshit and so forth.
- being an amnesiac is really not helpful for this. Things he remembers clearly he can probably conjure up with limited issues. Things he doesn't remember but 'knows' will be harder, but doable. Things he doesn't know but is shown a picture of is harder, etc. And the harder it is the more flawed the product => the weaker the illusion. THIS HAS NO CANON BASIS \:D/ I just thought I'd roll with it because it makes sense and Amano sure as hell doesn't care 8(.
SO BASICALLY. He can illusion inanimate objects he knows relatively well. And is working on the rest. Will probably start practicing and stuff, this was a bit of a dump in his head.
Oh, yeah. Mukuro always says he got this "from hell", so there is. Some. Pondering on that.
+ 500 illusionary power ( okay maybe not 500 but that is such a nice number! )
+ 100 'reality awareness' and ponderings
+ 100 paying more attention to things that he might not care about -- or trying to, anyway, he might not have the patience for it yet.
+ 60 something... mood.
