o-oh gosh okay. Hermana… never gets canon romance or anything. What she gets is canon CONFUSED FEELINGS-- she doesn't feel exactly sonly towards her son and it comes up in a few skits that she… would not mind dating him. Or kissing him. Or going out with him. '^' But she deflects very hard off of herself so there are very few moments when she pushes the whole "what about me?" thing in any sort of romantic way, because it's really obvious to everyone that he's fixating on another girl. So she does, once or twice! She's regained those memories and like… there's one where she's just like I don't really want to talk about the fact that you are crushing on another girl and he just keeps pushing and pushing and she just gives in because she loves him! Whether it's romantic or not, she just loves him more than anyone and wants him to be happy even if it's at her own expense.

Add to this a fine mixture of lots and lots of casual statements that imply a very appearance-focused view of what love is, a healthy dose of people going "ew!" whenever she brings up the fact that she thinks she might be crushing on Ruca a little bit, and a party member espousing a terribly unhealthy idea that women don't need jobs because they can just get married so she doesn't have to think about the future. (I don't think that's what he actually meant, but that's how she took it and walked away before he could correct himself.)

Basically, while her canon is really healthy at love and romance, it's not healthy at love and romance for Hermana. Any even remotely healthy ideas about romance come entirely from Aather, which is a damn shame, because she's definitely got a whole lot of very confused feelings jumbled up inside her that just kind of leak out into conversation sometimes.
