HE'S JUST . . . shifted more to approaching stuff like he does in canon. Caring about team was the worst answer he decided because it caused a bunch of problems and then it dodn't matter. So he's just decided to do things his own way and mosey along. IT ISN'T A PROBLEM except it means he's really changed trying to pay attention to other people's morals and stuff.
