Ven's opinion on the personae!

In general, he doesn't mind them in the least! They're people who need his help, he's helping, the end. There are certainly individual Personae who he's o.O or or :/ or :< about but. There are also some he really likes, and in one case did risk life, limb, and nasty injuries for, so. Overall, he likes them and kind of feels sorry for them. And it's helped by that weird resonance of I knew other versions of these people.
He is...pretty much trying not to think about the whole getting kidnapped thing. He absolutely believes that the memory loss is accidental, and if he actually thinks about it, he'd come to the conclusion that the Personae are simply leveraging it to get non-heroic types to help out. He absolutely would help Aather for free, but he's aware that there are people who dgaf, so it's like, yeah, some people are selfish and you have to motivate them.
Is Aurora actually one of this Sleeping Beauty's names or is she just rolling with this kid being weird?

It is...ridic adorable and really surprisingly healthy for two teenaged boys having their first relationship. Which is significantly helped along by the fact that they're both pretty stable people at baseline when their respective canons aren't yanking their chains (but stay pretty stable in Aather because Aather's degree of chain-yanking is more tolerable, and Aather in general has this awesome way of stabilizing people in a not boring way), and that each of them has learned major lessons in self-knowledge and communication from their teams. LIKE when after about a week of mad NRE Ven came to Josh at some point and was like "uh, I'm in love with like five people, I'm kind of an emotional slut," Josh was like "I honestly don't know how I would handle you dating other people but I'm not freaked out and we can talk about it and work it out when we get there," and Ven was like "gawd you're awesome" and then they loved on each other a lot.
But you probably read that thread because we both turned it in for Cheshire's game. Those game threads actually gave a pretty good picture of how they are in the very open, very trusting, very can't keep their hands off of each other sort of way. Anywayyy.
They died side by side in their room in Beauty's boss game, and that was just like. We shall never speak of this again. (And then they went and inaugurated the cliffs in Three's realm with furtive "oh-thank-fuck-we're-alive-and-there's-sunlight" blowjobs, but that's neither here nor there.) But because of Ven's canon issues compounded with Peridot issues, it was...a major thing...that Josh didn't freak out and be all like "you can't diieee." Which was major points. As far as the being there when Josh died thing, I...honestly think Ven is kind of repressing that. >.> And he doesn't actually repress often.
And then there were I love yous in Goldie's gazebo, and then Josh just went through Ven's heart racking up dere points and doing awesome things, because he knows Ven well enough to make actually good decisions in there and correctly intuit what pretty much everything meant.
BUT YEAH they're both pretty much approaching this with "really open communication about everything when we need it and just enjoying each other the rest of the time," and they're both healthy and won't, like, send people running for the hills by being open about stuff. (Well, Josh has a descent into darkness arc that he still hasn't gotten much wind of in memories, but. At this point he's in the Terra "can get away with murdering my dad" category, so.) And just generally being stupid cute, ridic horny, and occasionally compensating for all the saccharine by flying around in a hang glider and butchering hippos and stuff. \:D/
This is actually immediately relevant to my interests! But then I want to ask you actual your character's relationships stuffs. Do sunflowers regrow if cut down, and will marks stay on them or just mysteriously vanish? (Because Ven is currently going around with super-permanent markers doing color-coded arrows and so forth on all the paths. Well, he'll finish at some point soonish, Josh distracted him.)

Mark is...well I can't quite say he's Paleoning along right now, because he got one of his worst signegs even by Mark standards from Beauty's boss game (ILU :D) and that's pretty much shattered the Aather-Paleon-identity's rudimentary coping mechanisms, because Paleon could adjust to being a spy and assassin, at least that was professional, and insane, because his life, but a child molester? *snappy noises* He's able to put that identity back on sometimes by now! And be the usual snarky cranky analytical self that he developed early on in Aather. But the faintest nudge will usually derail him into the ball of black wallowing goo lurking underneath. >.> And he hasn't pulled himself together to hit the "I am not that person anymore" point which he...probably will...knowing how he handles identity, but. Not there yet.
I'll be frank, I...underestimated how hard it is to build CR with a quiet introvert with trust issues, especially on a quiet introverted team with trust issues. I'm in this weird cycle with Mark where I like...honestly forget to thread with him for a few days (or longer if there's plot he's not involved in, sorry about that >.>) at a time, because Ven EATS ALL MY ATTENTION GAWD, and I'm like, gosh, I'm really not sure this is working :/ do I need to think about dropping him :\ but he's barely even started his arc because so many memories :/ and then like a MAGICAL AWESOME THREAD happens and I'm like ILU MARK I PLAY YOU FOREVERRRR. But I keep being like fuck I need more CR with him, but he never wants to jump people even if he has a quest that requires it and it's just. What am I supposed to do with you, gawd. He doesn't approach people, he's too awkward turtle, he just props up a wall and waits for the world to come to him, and when it doesn't he's just like of course I suck why would anyone talk to me.
Anyway! I said I would ask you stuff. Where are Acedia and Wrath right now, including sexually because I'm like that?

I THINK THEY ARE OK . . . they are on again off again in a relationshipsense but there is also the teammate thing. LIKE MUKURO IS OK NOT HAVING A MORE RELATIONSHIP PART. Since what he gets from Wrath is mostly team stability. They have sex occasionally but it isn't a vital part of their relationship either :|a

I am actually workinggg on a knight app right now...I need to finish canon-reviewing. (Figure I might as well get her in to sit in the queueueue soonish.) I found a female knight who's promiscuous (what, I want a flirty girl) and who has one of those canon character arcs where a reasonably decent person has a slow downhill slide into becoming the big bad. Because I'm very interested in playing with that sort of thing in Aather. :)
I'd reverse except I already know the answer! Hm...if your two could talk to each other across the playercest divide, what would they think of each other?
