But because KK is neither as patient nor as good a person as Aeris, if she thinks Aeris is going down the wrong path then she will stamp her foot down hard. Despite speaking against it she is . . . handwavily okay with Aeris's current path. She thinks Onyx was a good move for Aeris ultimately just because Onyx seems like a pretty supportive environment and having the materia is better than not having it. But if she thinks Aeris is going to make a decision with it that will ultimately hurt more than it helps she is not above confiscating the materia either :T!! BASICALLY, KK HAS BECOME THE FRIEND YOU MAY NOT ALWAYS WANT TO HAVE, BUT IT IS GENERALLY GOOD TO HAVE ONE LIKE HER ANYWAY. oh noes.

And then kind of.
. . . got distracted.
LIKE IT IS IN THE BACK OF HIS MIND SOMEWHERE and every now and then he'll have one of those like. Spine-tingle moments or "oh I just completely fucked up this thing I was making" moments or "and then the doujinshi I was drawing turned out to be 37 pages that were just colored in black with no pictures or words ... uh..." but it isn't really... he doesn't have the focus to be worried.
He will feel guilty if someone reminds him though.

SOME THINGS
1) Aside from the very very occasional appearances from a future White Queen (Mastermind game, for example) most of her appearances are from the relative beginning of her story arc, which is where she is at her relative sanest. That means she is somewhat better at remembering people now than she will be later, which facilitates her actually getting to know people '-'
2) The White Queen's memory functions best with visual aids! She is pretty much 100% more likely to remember conversing with someone if there is something unusual about their appearance. For example, she would remember Mukuro better than others on account of his unusual eyes, and in Lloyd's case her initial memory of him was pretty much stapled to his hair defying gravity.
3) then there was a lot of derp derp he's so nice. For someone who is occasionally so confusing the White Queen is not complicated '-' she is mostly just confused and lonely a lot. Lloyd speaks in a relatively straightforward way, doesn't overwhelm her, and is generally nice to her all the time!! BUT THEN
4) derp derp he was upset :( in the White Queen's most recent game after the corruption games. And the White Queen is naturally a benevolent Persona, fully benevolent right now leading into less benevolent later in her story path, so she actually expressed a desire to help him with his troubles despite her relative lack of ability to do so. THIS WAS A BIG THING FOR LLOYD I THINK just because the Personae do not actively want to help often, falala. So they carved out a manner of helping each other/doing each other favours.
5) and now he has her pocketwatch (the mark of her patronage that lets him freeze time) and also her diary '-' which there are two copies of so he can write to her whenever he wants to. AND SHE IS MOSTLY JUST SO HAPPY ABOUT THE WHOLE THING just because of what I said about being confused and lonely an awful lot. '-' AND THAT IS ... MOST OF IT ... I THINK ...
With patronning do Dream and his heart come as a set or would Dream's heart patron people individually '3' out of interest.

What would the Doctor think of the White Queen?

ha ha ha obviously it would not be quite the same but the initial dynamic would be relatively similar. Except she wouldn't bite him. But I think the main issue with the Doctor in Aather would be him guessing all of the Personae's story arcs through the power of being himself '-' THINGS LIKE POOR RUMPLESTILTSKIN WOULDN'T GET TO HOLD ONTO HIS NAME FOR VERY LONG because everything about the Doctor's memories would be so imbued with history and mythology and storieeeessssss and it is headcanon for me that he is literally thinking of like twelve things at once at all times. So he would work her out and then probably top. EXCEPT he is a very confusing person so she would also get frustrated :( but I think she would be his favourite Persona just because there is a spiritual marriage right there.
Every now and then I think about apping memoryloss Doctor and then I think about how impractical it is and get sad and derp off ...

tenuously: i think i decided what i would do is like. because i haven't seen the old whos in anywhere enough detail to pick out memories for a long while. have being doctors one to eight be a memory that i would not unlock until the very end of his run
and then start with a nine memory
but have eleven's face
and then the evolution through the selves would come dependent on which memories were received when

it is going to take her a while to deal. Until she gets her game-end memory she will never deal quite properly. But Vanille is very very good at pretending she has dealt, so while she is sads she is not showing sads anymore. Very perceptive people will notice she is not quite herself but she is an excellent faker. It will grow gradually less and less fake in time because she has her Cinnamon base to fall back on. So it is gradually recoverable but the dominating sense of failure in her traumallama memory has driven her to CONSTANT WORK ALL THE TIME OH MY GOD '^' MUST NOT BE USELESS
