Dera is still solidly the person most important to Acedia's Rubyidentity and then really the Acedia identity. It is kind of totally weird because Acedia always feels PUSHED to be more direct and truthful with Dera just because Dera takes the with-holding so personal! But it's really. fucking. difficult. After the whole lolololstrangling thing he was PRETTY WORRIED THAT DERA DIDN'T LIKE HIM ANYMORE. Like, the thought of "he'll break up with me/broke up with me" was not even so much of the dating but it was symbolic of their relation as a whole for him so it was like ... pretty stressful! Feels bad, man.
So this thread they just had was like a re-assertion that Dera still likes him and it wasn't even just likes him '-' there was that weird. . . thing. . . WEIRD FOR HIM because he doesn't expect other people on Ruby to have that reaction since they are always like NO ACEDIA DON'T KILL PEOPLE JEEZ it always makes him feel a bit aloneish in that regard. So it was a weird feeling of feeeelllinnnngggg a level of camaraderie he isn't used to. Heartwarming murder ;D And really the idea of the childhood experience and desire to wipe people off the face of the earth is one of the building blocks of Kokuyouism so it was just a faint feeling of what he misses most about being Mukuro as well.
STILL KIND OF UNSURE WHERE DERA SITS IN REGARDS TO OTHER THINGS but less worried that Dera will completely dump him as Acedia.
