KK and Aeris have gotten to the really simple I ADORE THIS PERSON area that KK and Lloyd are at. KK has stopped complicating things these days, it is much simpler to just go with it whenever she can. Aeris was there for her the whole time she was self-destructing ... which was when the S. Link maxed the other way round. So now she is centred and reconnected to herself and she has that huge drive bonus from her heart game, and it's Aeris who is struggling, KK's response is to do exactly what Aeris did for her, ie have complete faith in her and be there for her no matter what.

But because KK is neither as patient nor as good a person as Aeris, if she thinks Aeris is going down the wrong path then she will stamp her foot down hard. Despite speaking against it she is . . . handwavily okay with Aeris's current path. She thinks Onyx was a good move for Aeris ultimately just because Onyx seems like a pretty supportive environment and having the materia is better than not having it. But if she thinks Aeris is going to make a decision with it that will ultimately hurt more than it helps she is not above confiscating the materia either :T!! BASICALLY, KK HAS BECOME THE FRIEND YOU MAY NOT ALWAYS WANT TO HAVE, BUT IT IS GENERALLY GOOD TO HAVE ONE LIKE HER ANYWAY. oh noes.
