It's just that Konatsu is ALSO in that top spot and has been for a while, and while he wants Mukuro's affection and to support him, he wants to win Konatsu's approval and for Konatsu to be proud of him. And obviously there is gonna be overlap between what he wants from both of them, but those are the primary things, and he feels like those things are in conflict. :|a KONATSU DISAPPROVES OH NO WHAT DO!!!
