Acedia's Heart is broken into layers -- or that's how I planned it anyway. There was something to change and touch in each layer :B

FIRST OFF, OVERVIEW:

LAYER ONE

[ You are in a small rectangular room. The floor is covered in debris -- curls of wallpaper, broken wood, paper, more paper, candy bar wrappers, empty bottles, some broken furniture, and a lot of soot. The left wall looks torn into -- the wallpaper torn away showing wood support beams and hard concrete. There looks to be an impact-fracture in the wall -- like a wrecking ball has been hammering against it. The right wall is composed of six windows -- all of the windows have been broken and there is an odd artificial smell coming from outside. The wall behind you is red brick with blackened grout -- there is a strong feeling of don't look behind you. don't go there. coming from that wall. There's something drawn on the wall in front of you.

You probably don't want to linger here too long. The floorboards are creaking with your weight it and looks like the whole room is in a state of decay... ]

Has three exits! Cold Hell, Hot Hell and the windows. Four, if you count waiting to fall through the floor. Both the Hell walls are illusionary and you can walk through them easily. The window requires a bit more acrobatics -- jacket(s) to hook and shimmy down the wall so you don't break your neck or whatever.

The main item of change was the drawing on the wall:
[ There is a wheel dawn on the wall in front of you. In the center hub of the wheel are some wooden figures of animals: a very large snake wrapped around a bird that is tearing into a dead pig. There is a black ring around the hub. It looks a bit like the ring didn't used to be black, but someone's applied pencil to it and filled it in dark. Around the dark ring is a wider ring divided into six segments. In half of the segments it looks like there are vague sketches of things to come, but nothing that is easily discernible. There's another ring outside of the six-segmented-ring, this one is divided into twelve segments, only three of these segments have vague things filled in -- loose shapes and smudged pencil marks. At the top of the wheel a skull is etched, and at the four 'corners' of the wheel are four skeletal hands are drawn, holding it. ]

Which is a modified Bhavacakra. You can move the three animals, erase the ring and if you felt MOTIVATED!1 carve on it as well. Nii removed the bird (though then he put it back on the wheel) and erased the pencil fill-in. The bird represents attach...ment... so it's pretty good that Dera put it back I guess. But it's been shifted a bit. The ring! That's Karma. MOSTLY IT IS CONSEQUENTIAL ACTION. And it was blacked out because cool kids don't need that shit. This can be re-blackened pretty easily by Mukuro himself because he is. . . well, just that kind of person. Also parts of his heart are vandals and wander around and deface other parts of it.

FUN FACTS:
+ I did not actually expect people to go through the floor. This connected Layer One to one of the Layer Threes -- sort of sidewayswise. And Layer Three got kind of whacked out anyway so.
+ This has changed slightly since when KK last visited! There is more filled in on the Bhavacakra and the windows are broken now. The outside would have been the Aather part. But. I guess. No one. Went there :'D
+ Dera and Nii just fought a lot in this area and popcorn.gif man, popcorn.gif.

LAYER TWO

Hot Hell, Cold Hell, Aather.

COLD HELL
This section is all about childhood and denial. All feelings are on lock down and this part of the heart is inhospitable and FROZENNNNnn. lol metaphors.

[ It feels a bit like you've been pulled through the frozen ocean (only... less wet) and suddenly -- You are in a field of flowers! Each flower is about three feet apart. The ground between the flowers is rough and broken, like a field of miniature icebergs.

And it's fucking cold. Like you can see your breath cold. Like your cheeks are getting stiff cold. Everywhere you look is an endless field of flowers... and then waaay over there might be a person. In the opposite direction of the person is a trail of sesame seeds. ]

If you touched the flowers you were treated to some pain but I guess no one did that. There wasn't anything here to "change" it was just a bridge section.

THE PERSON
[ You approach the person. Or what used to be a person. A frozen corpse is laid out inside a giant lotus. It looks like the body froze, cracked open and then all the internal organs spilled out and also froze and cracked. There are small (childsized) footprints in the ice -- someone was here recently.

There is a pack of chewing gum nearby. Also a stuffed animal -- a cute cat. There is nothing else of note here. ]

When KK first visited this section of the heart there was a version of Acedia here! That Acedia has since been added to the self/heart and so wasn't there. The chewing gum and stuffed animal are useful to you in the heart later.

S...Snake ate some of the gum. And then froze to death. IT'S PROBABLY NEVER LIKELY TO COME UP but Acedia totally has a weird :/a you remind me of my dog view of Snake now. And some validation that this part of the heart functions as it should LOCK DOWN ON ANYTHING THAT MOVES, FREEZE TO DEATH, SUCKERSSS.

KAY SO. Lotuses are usually good symbols. Even if this crazy frozen hell is full of somewhat painful frozen lotuses whatever whatever. REPRESENTATIONS OF LIKE purity, beauty, the unfolding soul, blah blah. HAVE A WIKI-LINK. THIS IS A SEAT OF ZEN and self-acceptance and beauty and whatever -- at one point and time it may have been part of the true heart but lol what.. Of course Mukuro has no zen with his childhood and blah blah suffering so it is kind of SUPER DESTROYED (probably another vandal in his heart did it too :B instead of just locking it up) BUT STILL WAS THERE.

And then KK mindshanked the corpse. So . . . it. . . is not. This isn't a Super Active part of his heart -- cos lol frozen -- but it's one of those deep-seated feelings. THEY WERE GOING TO DO A SEMI-RIGHT THING leaving the jackets there (the best thing would be to place everything back inside the corpse where it should go :B but you know) but then no she killed it. NOT OKAY WITH CHILDHOOD EVER AGAIN I GUESS. This would be far less relevant except. For. The other section.

SESAME SEEDS
[ You follow the trail of sesame seeds! They lead you across the ~frozen landscape~ to the base of some very tall sheer ice cliffs. There is also a small wooden shack here if you're not into ice cliffs. The ice cliffs, though, are very clear and you can see that beyond them is some kind of city :|a too bad the city is. Well. Inside the ice cliffs. ]

The city is HAPPY TIMES WITH LANCIA'S FAMILY. It's stuck because he would really rather not think about those times in any context but I WAS THERE TO DO A THING AND I DID IT AND THEN RUINED LANCIA'S LIFE FOR PROFIT FUCK YEAH ME!!!!!!!!!!!! NONE OF THOSE FEELINGS WERE REAL \m/. It is also mostly inaccessible for Heart Reasons and then slightly cos I'm missing some memories still.

The shack is where Mukuro sticks his "not dealing with childhood" feelings (which are different from "not accepting childhood" feelings). The fingerbones were all memories -- which KK triggered on her first run in but neither KK nor Luke triggered them this time. Lighting the candles SHEDS LIGHT ON THE SITUATION ha ha ha and then opening the trunk and taking the baaabbbyy Acedia out made him confront his like O GOD NO feelings. HE ACTUALLY CAN'T BE TAKEN OUT OF THE ROOM lol. It is his place. For now anyway. But lol KK and Luke thinking they lost him :Db

HOT HELL
This section is all about Hate. Awww yissssss.

[ It feels a bit like you've been pulled through a wall of fire (only ... with less real burning) and suddenly -- you are in a field of rocks. Off in the distance are cliffs. And notably it is really hot. Like take off your shirt and seek water hot.

You can see a line of people wearing all black off to your right. Running through the ground at your feet and heading to your left is a river of molten metal. ]

Inside the barrels are BITING BLACK BEETLES curled around a feeling or positive feelingish memory. Like when Mukuro got apples for Ken and Chikusa while ON ZA RUN that sort of thing. EVERYTHING IS HATE. The beetles are hate, the barrels are vessels of hate, the men are MAFIA HATE. The world is HOT AND TERRIBLE. The molten metal is MADE OF HATE!!!1111.

Mukuro has a lot of misplaced Hate!!1 Like there is no real logical reason why the mafia shuttles all of his hate but they do because that is how he rolls. You can, hilariously, get good items from the mafia men or they will kill you. THUS IS HIS RELATIONSHIP WITH THE MAFIA HATE. They are also head down work work work though.

Following the line of people would eventually take you to where the men are SUPER SMALL but the barrels are the same. Or the men are SUPER LARGE. That's the spectrum of EVERYTHING IS THE MAFIA'S FAULT and then wow no i just hate myself a lot too lol. Both Souya and Kaworu went the route of SELF-HATE and managed to change very little before exiting the area!

Guy and Zack went the other way …

[ If you follow the river of molten lava you'll come to a waterfall. You can scale the wall down to get to the basin but be careful -- the rocks are quite slippery and if you fall it will be a painful sort of burned/drowning in molten metal deaths. ]

[ In the basin -- it's really quite like the basin in Aather, but the water is liquid metal and a bit away from the waterfall is a small island. On the island is a large chair. A slightly younger Acedia is lounging on the chair. Both of his eyes are red, and he's wearing a high collared black jacket. There's a :) on his red shirt and he waves at you. Then he pulls a frog out of his pocket and tosses it into the metal. ]

And met a heart vandal/cruelty. There are a few agents in Mukuro's heart that are simply only malicious. They fuck up other parts of his heart cos they feel like it and they perpetuate bad feelings. This one likes hurting people and playing games and has no intentions of ever doing anything kind :B Not to say you can't "win" against him -- solving the riddle will give a temporary victory but he also gives two shits about holding his end of the bargain. And Guy and Zack leaving and then coming back also sort of threw a wrench in his malicious spokes but without killing it, nothing will get completely solved. The vandals are all afraid of the Chrome part of his heart though :B

LEVEL TWO POINT FIVE

Because I didn't expect anyone to go the Vindice route for some reason.

HERE YOU CAN FIND YOUR BUDDY TUBEMUKURO. And a lot of tunnel and stuff. This will eventually lead you to Level Three.

KAY THE MUKURO HERE is. He is . . . unsure about a lot of things. Whether or not he's been crazy. How long he's been in prison. What's real and what isn't. Kind of lonely but also kind of not. Also it is where Acedia sticks his physical weakness feelings :B Mostly a group of mixed feelings that Acedia is just like BLEH WHATEVER STAY DOWN THERE but doesn't freeze like some of his others :|bb

LEVEL THREE

AATHER

[ It's just the ring. And the clearing.

There's only six paths leading away from the ring, however. And . . . well. It's dead silent. Nothing is moving. There's no air. No animals. No people. No personae. The Sterling cave is missing and so is the Onyx tower.

Also for the slightly more perceptive -- everything feels off. Like you know something is off but can't put your finger on it. You could look around or maybe . . . disbelieve, a little. . .? ]

WHICH NO ONE GOT TO SO THERE IS NOT MUCH TO SAY HERE :'D There were a lot of team feelings, game feelings, AMNESIAC!1 feelings, past-present collisions, STUPID HELPING THIS WORLD feelings, etc. But a lot of the important feelings were elsewhere in the heart as well. Notably tho were like NO FEELINGS CLUB stuff and SOCIAL (AATHER) NORMA stuff, GAME STUFF, blah blah.

KOKUYOU

[ You end up in what looks like it could have been an amusement park at one time. There's a snow-cone stand to your left. A staircase in front of you and what looks like a greenhouse (?) with broken panes to your right. Everything is a bit dirty and falling apart. ]

SNOWCONE-STAND
[ Just a snow-cone stand . . . there's a row of chocolate bars on the counter though. Unwrapped and lined up evenly. ]

GLASS HOUSE
[ This used to be a greenhouse, but almost all the glass panes are broken. Also there are only vines with lotus flowers. No other plants. The vines have sort of taken over everything. ]

The Snowcone stand is where another of Mukuro's heart vandals hangs out. But it isn't as malicious as the one in the hot hell. It just kind of runs around and is a dick but not super terrible. IF you do engage him in a game tho it will be bad end bad end for you. He's worried about being wiped out by Chrome :'D Also he likes sweets :(a

The greenhouse is where some overgrown and tangled feelings on Kokuyou is! Ken and Chikusa are there, guarding it -- MOSTLY ATTENTION STARVED :(a you can feed them the gum or other feed and love them if. . . you want. There is also a robin's egg which will trigger Chrome's first appearance :B

CHROME IS YOUR MAGIC TICKET TO MOST ACEDIA HEART PLACES except she can't take you to the Hells annnddd some other places but she is who you want for a fast ride.

[ … leads you to a dilapidated building and inside that it looks like an empty warehouse that's falling apart. You can see one side -- which has dingy curtains and a couch. There's a gun on the floor -- warm to the touch -- and a splatter of blood. You can also see one wall looks in more disrepair than the rest -- there's a hidden room on the other side. But you'll have to destroy the wall to get to it. ]

You can get here a few ways. WALKING UP THE STAIRS, going through the hot hell door, and there is a way in from Aather as well. HERE ARE SUM FEELINGS. The gun will trigger the LOL I SHOT MYSELF memory. And the other side of the wall:

[ It looks like the inside of a cabin in Aather . . . only kind of messy. The beds are tipped over and the sheets are thrown everywhere. There's also six teddy bears tossed around haphazardly... ]

THE TEDDYBEAR DESCRIPTIONS:
DERABEAR - is the most worn bear -- almost threadbare in some places. Clearly well loved, mostly plain but this is the kind of bear a child has slept with forever.
KONATSUBEAR - Not very soft -- has a VERY NEW feeling to it, new button eyes and not a cuddly kind of bear.
LUKEBEAR - doesn't have enough stuffing, and medium-worn.
JACUZZIBEAR - SUPER SOFT AND SUPER FLUFFY pristine and the kind of toy a child wanted but rarely cuddles.
KOUMYOUBEAR - is clearly another new teddybear. Somewhat untouched but also its ears are too long.
OZBEAR - this isn't a teddybear at all . . . it's a stuffed rabbit

A-AND THEN GUY AND ZACK BROKE DOWN THE WALL BETWEEN KOKUYOU AND RUBY AND FIXED RUBY UP uhhhhhhhhhhhh i. yeah. Acedia was having some UGH HOW DOES I RUBY + UGH HOW DOES I KOKUYOU AT THE SAME TIME feelings, especially with the more pos. memories he gained of his Kokuyou people. The growing suspicion that he would have to choose between them as well. TERRIBLE 8(!! Ruby is mess because … well. It is. Approached from the Aather side it is actually less of a mess but Kokuyou is more of a mess (t-than it already is).

And then took cake to the crabby cruel Mukuro. W...w...wh.... I. \:D/ ….

THE BASEMENT

[ You fall down the hole and end up in a dark and dingy basement. There is about an inch of water on the ground and everything around you looks like it is deteriorating. There are several tunnels radiating away from where you are.

There's also the soft hissing of snakes . . . the dripping of water and down one tunnel -- laughter. It looks like you have four options. . . none look particularly better or worse than the others. ]

THE FOUR PATHS: Riful, Sex Carnival, S&M and Dere

VRISKA WENT TO THE S&M ROOM AND THE SEX CARNIVAL. She didn't 'change' much in the S&M room except gained SEXY POINTS WITH ACEDIA as well as he could totally share slaves with her opinion I guess ( u n s u r e ). There was also an M Acedia in the room but she didn't find him so :Db

A-AND THEN THE SEX CARNIVAL. NII, KAWORU AND LUKE GAINED SEXY POINTS and Vriska herself gained even MOAR sexy points. (The heart was RABURABU and the blank paper was WILD CARD of desires).

Except then she got vored by Riful ( u n s u r e ).

DERA AND NII ACTUALLY FOUND THE DERE TUNNEL. Where you could DIG MOAR and actually unlock DERE RELATIONSHIP THINGS or play with the feathers and be immersed in DERE FEELINGS. But. Yes :Db

Also the basement is now connected to the entryway more.

LEVEL FOUR

CHROME'S ROOM

[ The room looks mostly beat up -- but there's something welcoming about it as well. Besides the writing on the wall. There's a mattress on the floor and on the mattress is a pile of stuffed animals. On the wall are drawings that could have been made by a child. In the corner is also the shambles of what was probably a cabinet -- painted with flames and skulls and Ruby red.

There is a small girl sitting on a beat up plush chair in the center of the room. Her knees are drawn up to her chest but she looks pleased. ]

THE TRUE HEART. Though the true heart is actually a combination of factors. You must win Chrome over and speak with tiny Acedia and LOVE HIM!1 and the room itself counts as well. So, yes. His true heart is rather a space than a single entity atm.

Souya reached this room first and brought along a piece of Acedia. Chrome took care of that :B But he didn't linger to talk to baby Acedia so he didn't unlock the whole true heart.

KK and Luke came annnddd did the whole shebang. A-and KK drew happy pictueres on the wall and oh my. SO MUCH POSITIVENESS HERE.

LATER DERA CAME TOO :(b

INVERTED SPACE

[ Despite the light filtering in through the windows this room is cold and unwelcoming. There are two chairs in the center, some empty bottles -- and then long lengths of chain strewn across the floor.

Leaning against the back wall is a tall man, he looks neither pleased nor displeased. ]

THIS IS ESSENTIALLLYYYY the judge-y part of Mukuro's heart. A lot of self-awareness, awareness of what he does and to who and general … dislike? But not hate. It's an older part of his heart. I GUESS THE MATURE SIDE OF ALL THE HATE in a weird way. It is connected to the true heart innnnnnnnn a way. SOMEDAY THIS ROOM AND CHROME'S ROOM SHOULD BE THE SAME ROOM actually :(b but right now it is too weighed down and not with enough sight to be part of the true heart. A-and with the bit shanked in the cold Hell I am not sure they ever will rightly sync up now.

KOKUYOU ROOF
Where Souya and Kaworu ended uppp. CAN ACTUALLY LEAD BACK DOWN INTO PARTS OF THE HEART and can lead elsewhere but lol time.

OKAY I THINK THAT IS IT IN TERMS OF OVERVIEW

TIME FOR THE NITTY GRITTY. BASICALLY EVERYTHING EVER WAS TOUCHED AND THERE IS SOME MAJOR HEART OVERHAUL. If you went into Acedia's right /RIGHT NOW/ it would be drastically different. It is kind of hilarious because Mukuro does a lot of internal "maintenance" -- Chrome and the heart vandals :B. And then there are just large areas of like damage and disorder cos lol.

+ Ruby! This was actually really important-ish. ( Guy and Zack do a bang-up job!)

BREAKING THE WALL means Kokuyou team feelings and Ruby team feelings have sort of become the same. EARNED BACK MY STUPID VIEWS ON TEAM GUYS :Db So it is back to sort of utter Ruby acceptance and all that jazz. ALSO IS ZEN ON HAVING TWO TEAMS THAT I LOVE A LOT I GUESS SINCE MENTALLY THEY ARE LIKE THE SAME THING :Dbbb

ORGANIZING IT means that it... is... well... organized. It feels "proper" again.

Other stuff is just general love and dere and so forth. Since Guy put all the animals together Mukuro RIKES THEM ALL. Yes, even you Oz. Cleaning the windows and getting more light in too sort of helped with his empathy problems :(b BASICALLY THIS WAS A SUPER GREAT CHANGE gg guys. Though also a pretty big forced change. INJECTION OF TEAM DELUSION AND HAPPY DERE I GUESS......

+ SELF-AWARENESS
… took a HUGE bump up. KK and Luke did a lot of LOL LOOK AT YOUR CHILDHOOD and then Souya let that other aspect of the heart as well. G-Guy actually kind of messed with it too by being nice to the cruelty aspect. Kaworu and Souya talked to Lancia which also bumped this -- and talking to Chrome does as well.

THIS IS KIND OF HARD FOR ACEDIA lol because it is like a DUMP OF STUFF ABOUT HIMSELF. He's kind of reeling from it. And. He can't really. Accept his childhood bits so it is just TERRIBLE!1 but whatever. The other stuff is like. Awareness of his dickery and some of his feelings and buh buh nooo.

So it also gains like 500 TSUN AND 500 AVOIDANCE and 500 BLAUGH feelings but they are like normal good ugh my life feelings and not like BLAUGH PSYCHOSIS.

+ TRUSTING...KNIGHTS.............. A-all of the knights, even Snake who died, pretty much affirmed a part of Acedia's heart lol \:D/ I GUESS IRRATIONAL DISTRUST OF KNIGHTS HAS BEEN KICKED OUT.

+ SELF-ACCEPTANCE AND SELF-HATE lol
SELF-ACCEPTANCE TOOK A BIT OF A DIVE. Self-hate was mostly untouched except some petting and feeding so it's... it got a vague appeasement.

+ THERE WAS MORE I WAS GOING TO PUT HERE BUT I GOT DISTRACTED...
