IT'S COMPLICATED

On the one hand, the first time they met he was being kind of creepy around Riful's unconscious body, so she was VERY SUSPICIOUS and growly, because despite all common sense she likes and is sort of protective of Riful -- add to that the fact that he seems to really upset Breeze and Tempest and she's like okay so. You aren't good.

But also she doesn't... want to just decide she doesn't like someone based on something so inconclusive as 'being vaguely creepy at' or 'somebody told me they weren't nice'. I mean, she continually tries to be Sasuke's friend, and he's told her over and over that he isn't good and she shouldn't be around him-- she'd feel like a hypocrite if she didn't try and extend her same level of "I will like you until I personally see something that tells me I shouldn't" to everyone.

So basically most of her interactions with him are her ...foofing up all her fur to try and look intimidating but also as give-no-fucks as possible, because she's also pretty sure he likes to mess with her. SHE IS ALWAYS ON GUARD but tries to not show it when he says something that gets to her.

...She did honestly really enjoy the last conversation they had, though. Laughing! Gosh. So now she's sort of...vaguely confused. Will keep ambushing him with conversation, likely.

DEPENDS ON WHO.

Steph --> Cassie becomes obsessed with if she's safe and if people are being nice to her and just genuinely really excited about everything and she won't want to tell steph anything bad about her to begin with.

Batman --> She'd probably switch gears to wanting to impress him and just generally be at his disposal. (he would be the best knight and someone should app him)

Barbara --> Cassie would probably feel a little strange about her coming because they haven't made amends in her memories so she'd be a little standoffish but very invested in her and interested in her safety and well-being.

Any other Batkid (aside from Damian) --> instacolleague. She'd involve them in intel and hook them up with Snake and periodically check in on them to make sure they're doing okay, but she trusts that the boys can deal.

So basically, in a lot of cases, it diverts her loyalty/attention to someone else, but in general she would just love it. PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY UNDERSTAND WHERE SHE'S COMING FROM.

How would Mukuro respond if Chrome showed up AND HOW WOULD THE ORGANS THING WORK IN AATHER.

HM. I thought TE might be good for her but I also feel like they might be too hands off and orderly. Though I am not sure any team has the brutal invasiveness she really needs tbh! She will pick up a lot of whatever team she would be on too. Or whoever threaded with her most in her early days. Laura really needs someone who would MAKE her be her own person. Like, not tell her what to do otherwise she'll just accept it pretty easily.

We sort of miss Coyote. Research... goes? Anything that's ICly known, they have a log of. They log games, what people do when they're Personae-napped and any conversations they personally have with the Personae, but some you sort of have to avoid. Like the Lion. The bad part is the ones that are the most dangerous are the ones we want info the most... but getting it is... lolololol.

At the beginning there was talk of Mally and Beauty having a sort of war in the past... is that still a thing or was that retconned?

IN SOME WAYS IT'S REALLY SIMPLE.

Mukuro in canon is a "complete part" in a way. He balances with things outside of himself. Lliiikkkeee his sense of personhood is a tray and you're putting various dishes on it. Before he was all dessert and french fries '-' and now he's got some better stuff on it as well.

Acedia is . . . an "incomplete part". The things around him change him. PUT FRIES NEXT TO THE BROCCOLI AND THEY DON'T REMAIN INDEPENDENT. YOU GET BROCCOLI FRIES! It's really more like his sense of personhood is a pot and stuff keeps getting put in it.

Part of this is because in a way Mukuro 'finished growing up' to some extent. His formative experiences were formative and harsh. Acedia's formative experiences are still going.

Not at this very moment... considering how the line for Aather apps will probably build up again very quickly, and there aren't a whole lot of characters that I'd be invested in enough to sit around for three months waiting for them come into play - and also because while I'd love to play Tomoe and he'd have such a hilarious memory registry "SIG POS: SHIKI THREATENING TO KILL HIM IDEK", his arc is also really concentrated and he doesn't reallyyyy have enough material to give him a lot of wiggle room to develop in a different direction. Which is what I like the most about amnesia RP.

Also I just don't feel like I know enough series/games/etc HAHAHA. Oh well.

I know this isn't likely to ever happen, but if for some unforeseen reason, Aather had partner teams, who would you pair together? Or, I guess, for a partner team game of some description, since that's probably at least a little more likely.

Hm. Depends. Given Aather we could either go for "teams that know and get along" or "teams that don't" and both would serve different purposes. I would be pretty worried to pair teams by the first because then we might get microcommunities that were effectively cliques and very difficult to navigate. ON THE OTHER HAND "work with this team you have little cr with/possibly dislike" would be problematic AND we'd be asking people to not only maintain their current CR net but effectively add 7 more people do it. Cccchaaoossssss, esp at our activity reqs and everything. So feasibly it would probably never happen :|a

So, did you read all 3 books ...

I read the first two and I read the third for a chapter or two and ragequit. I only read the second one because my mom brought them home from work and I just start reading things if they're on the kitchen table in front of me when I'm eating. It's like a brainstem reflex.

At the end of the second one it's like she's going to start doing interesting things but then it turns out that going to the district that's not under the capitol's control is also The New Worst Thing and I just went ARGLEBARGLE and quit reading. Though now that I know what happens I consider myself lucky.

EVERYTHING BY CHARLES DE LINT. Though technically 'Blue Girl' might be his only 'YA'. Charles de Lint is urban fantasy! And very heavy into the storytelling side and he dips into various mythologies. Also a really interesting spread of characters +A+

Nnnot yet. She is a bit of a puzzle really. I AM STILL FEELING HER OUT esp given LOL IDENTITY in Angel Sanctuary and how she and Lucifer are so narratively obscured in a lot of ways.

IT IS HARD BECAUSE REALLY so much of her identity is hinged on Rosiel. PRETTY SURE "I love Rosiel" while not romantically inclined is also pretty possessive in terms of self identity. In a way "I love Lucifer" is not.
