The more memories he gets back and the more he sees of normal social interaction, the more he knows that his actions/lack of affect are not normal. So yes, he's at the point where he is aware that what he does is something that others might find wrong but doesn't really care . . . he himself doesn't conceive it as terrible, though, but he might admit to something being so if confronted with it. Most of his actions are taken with a goal in mind or because he's bored, but it's never "I'm bored so I will do a terrible thing" but "I'm bored so I will do something to keep myself occupied". (Note that I do giggle oocly about Nii doing terrible things, but that doesn't reflect what's going on ic.)
