ACEDIA HATES IT WHEN PEOPLE LEAVE. Shadow is his first 'friend' that was not Ruby that has left and it really . . . bothers him. He hates it. In canon even if Kokuyou isn't right next to him all the time there is that weird bond and they are placements on his mental map, not relations with people. So in Aather the act of making relations and then getting them broken really tears him up. SO HE BASICALLY DECIDED TO TAKE THE "I MISS THE PRESIDENT" AND IT TWISTED INTO "THE PRESIDENT CHOSE TO LEAVE US" and routed back into annoyance and anger as opposed to sadness :Da He's a smart not at all crazy person. So there is a heft of resentment right now, which he'll either continue to route around until he finds a better output to deal with it or it'll just simmer and come out later and people will be like ... wat you even talking about ...
