They're incredibly poorly matched. Akira needs pretty direct orders and Ren Fah is subtle and manipulative. She needed to use him and he needs to be used. It's simultaneously horrifically unhealthy and also really . . . healthy because in the end they do care about each other. It's just skewed and twisted and there is an edge of regret, violence and 'use' in it.
The power in their relationship is almost all Ren Fah > Akira except for where he fulfills the stable and protector role. IDK THERE IS A LOT OF GIVE AND TAKE and weird dynamics and ffff it is one of my favorite otps forever.
How do you think Lancia would react in an amnesia game -- like, when he got his memories back/etc. Would he be more horrified? More resilient?
